We're a busy family... and I can come up with LOTS of posts for this blog. I figured I should maybe start doing it by month to make it more manageable? We had a busy October!
Blazer Game
We took Grady to his first Blazer game this month... and probably his last for a while. He's still a little young :).
A cheesy shot in front of the Rose Garden.
And a serious one.
G and Mommy.
I'm just here for the food!
Why did you buy me a ticket? The floor works just fine!
Nature Walk
Next, we did a little nature walk out at Graham Oaks Nature Park in Wilsonville. Graham Oaks is a 250 acre, former farm on the west side of Wilsonville. Conservation groups planted over 100 million wildflower and grass seeds. In addition, they also planted 150,000 trees and shrubs native to the Willamette Valley. It doesn't look like a whole lot now, but someday the hundreds of oak trees will all grow up and make it a pretty cool place! We went out one mild fall evening to try to enjoy one of the last good days outside.
Safety first, of course.
These photos of Grady walking just crack me up.
With Mommy.
Checking out the fall leaves.
A stump and some sticks become a drum set.
A shoulder ride from Dad... 2 miles was just a little much.
Pumpkin Patch
This year we tried out a new pumpkin patch - French Prairie Gardens in St. Paul. It was a game day, so we were all decked out in our Oregon gear.
There was LOTS to do there. We enjoyed feeding the Ducks.
Kissing the pig!
Sliding down BIG slides (I screamed).
Going through obstacle courses.
Playing with Tonka trucks.
Riding bikes.
Pretending to shoot a big corn gun.
And taking our turns getting our picture taken in the "Go Ducks" sign!
Halloween
Grady was a firefighter... jacket made by me, hat donated by Julia's Child Care.
